Trout and Salmon Foundation made grants to Downeast Salmon Federation in 2013 and 2014 to support their efforts to “turn the tide” for the native Atlantic Salmon fishery in the East Machias River in Maine. This project recently received some nice press from Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News.
