• $10,000 to the Henry’s Fork Foundation (ID) in support of the Henry’s Fork Watershed Initiative III to restore hydrology, water quality, fisheries and reverine vegetation to the headwaters of the Henry’s Fork.
  • $3,880 to the Mason Conservation District (WA) for the purchase of equipment to monitor “on the ground” projects while working in cooperation with the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group and private owner.
  • $2,500 to Montana Land Reliance (MT) for assistance in the protection of 12 properties and 28.5 miles of trout habitat in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
  • $5,000 to Trout Unlimited (VA) to support the Darbee Brook Restoration Project.
  • $5,000 for sponsorship of the Wild Trout VI Conferences to be held in Bozeman, MT, August, 1997.
  • $5,000 to the Rock Creek Trust (MT) for an experimental project involving small parcel property owners in the protection and conservation of open space along the lower drainage of Rock Creek.
  • $3,000 to the Teller Wildlife Refugee (MT) for Spring Creek restoration.
  • $5,000 to the Northwestern North Carolina Chapter, Trout Unlimited, toward a project to improve the waterflow and temperature in the South Holston River below the South Holston Dam.
